Lindsay went on to sing professionally for a while, then returned to London. Just one week after qualifying as a Music Therapist, she learnt that her husband had a terminal cancer. His death changed the course of her life and she began to study spiritual healing and sound therapy, later moving to the country town of Stroud and setting up practice there. She also began to make fairy light lanterns which she sells in a local cafe and in her shop, TAANZURI, on Etsy.com.
Lindsay founded IDEA in July 2014 with a desire to bring together like-minded artists with a passion for actively contributing to positive change in the world.

As a child Lindsay fell in love with the film 'Carousel' and set her heart on becoming a singer, dancer and actress. At the age of 17 she began to study singing at the Guildhall School of Music in London, followed by the performers' course. While at college Lindsay experienced a spiritual awakening and, after qualifying, spent the next eight years as a member of the Community of Celebration in Dorset and on the Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland, working in the music department. It was during this time that she began to write songs and choral pieces.
